Necessary Hardware for Playing Warzone
CPU
The CPU has the most flexibility as Warzone has a lesser impact on the CPU and relies more on other components. The best starting CPU for Warzone is the more recent Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 5 5600x for those looking to have the latest/last generation components. Overall, anything with 4-6 cores can keep up with any combination of more modern hardware to achieve over 60 FPS.
GPU
Like most FPS games, the GPU is the heavy lifter when delivering a seamless experience for Warzone. A GTX 1660 super, when paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, can provide anywhere from 80FPS to 120FPS on a 1080p monitor.
RAM
RAM is not especially important for Warzone besides the loading time between games. Depending on your GPU and CPU, you may want to increase the capacity if you are pushing 1440p or 4k resolution textures. I would recommend 16-32GB 3600 Mhz RAM if you are going the minimum or recommended for a low to high-end system.
Storage
For Warzone, 175GB is space required. If you are getting a PC exclusively for Warzone, I would choose a 512GB NVME for the storage needed for the game and operating system.
Great Peripherals for Warzone
Apex has multiple monitors ranging from 1080p to ultra-wide 1440p monitors capable of delivering 144-165htz. We have bundles for all peripherals and stand-alone monitors for those looking to get multiple monitors.
Conclusion
No matter if you are looking for a $1,000 gaming solution or a high-end gaming machine with the latest and greatest hardware. Warzone can run on most hardware dating back to 2012s GPUs like the GTX 670 and 2013s CPUs like Intel i3-4340.Warzone demands the most from hardware for an arcade shooter, especially at higher resolutions, and ultimately affects performance.
At Apex Gaming PCs, we have prebuilt gaming PCs up to the task of delivering a cohesive experience for FPS games like Warzone. Our systems surpass most of the minimal requirements for games released today, helping those looking to get into Warzone on PC. Whatever your gaming needs, we hope to support it at Apex!
