Warranty and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy

At Apex Gaming PCs, we are committed to providing reliable service and comprehensive warranty support. This policy outlines the details of our warranty coverage and RMA process, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.

RMA Timelines & Loaner Laptops

Apex Gaming PCs understands that computers serve a critical role in our lives, and having to send your PC in for repair may create significant inconvenience. In a worst-case scenario, we ask customers to assume a six-week RMA turnaround time when determining if they want a loaner gaming laptop sent to them. Apex Gaming PCs highly encourages all customers to request an RMA loaner laptop if they need to RMA their PC. 


Two-Year Labor Warranty

Apex Gaming PCs offers a two-year labor warranty, meaning customers will never be charged labor fees for standard hardware warranty repairs within two years. 


Intel 13th and 14th Gen Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage:

  • Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPUs: Effective immediately, all Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPUs included in our Apex Gaming PCs will now be covered under warranty for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery.
  • Motherboard and RAM: Warranty coverage for your motherboard and RAM will now be 3 years from the date of delivery.

Important Notice on RMA Processing Times:
Due to high demand for RMA requests involving Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPUs, replacement processing times may be longer than usual. We are working diligently to address all requests as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience during this time.

Encouragement for Upgrades and Modifications

At Apex Gaming PCs, we believe in empowering our customers to fully enjoy and customize their PCs. You are encouraged to upgrade your PC, tinker with hardware, and take it to local repair shops if you wish. However, please note that if physical damage is observed or parts fail due to any modifications, third-party repairs, or improper handling, the warranty for the affected parts will be voided. Our warranty covers only parts that have not been damaged or improperly handled during such activities.


Third-Party Statements and Recommendations

Apex Gaming PCs cannot verify the statements made by any third parties regarding a PC's issues. As such, we will not refund or compensate a customer for any recommendations or work performed by third parties. To ensure your warranty remains intact and to avoid unnecessary expenses, we strongly encourage contacting Apex Gaming PCs directly for diagnostics, repairs, and support.


Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty, including any extended coverage, does not apply to the following:

  • Physical Damage: Any physical damage, including GPU microfractures/failure, must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. If the damage is claimed to be the result of shipping, it must be consistent with typical shipping-related damage. If the nature of the damage does not reasonably reflect shipping impact, the customer may be held responsible.
  • Accidental Damage: Water damage, electrical shorts, and fire.
  • Misuse or Environmental Factors: Improper use or adverse environmental conditions.
  • Failed Service: If a PC is not properly maintained or serviced—such as failing to clean or dust components, or neglecting to drain and service custom water loops—and this leads to damage, the customer will be responsible for the resulting issues.
  • Software-Related Issues: Problems related to games, Windows, or drivers are excluded from hardware repairs. However, Apex Gaming PCs offers support and solutions for these issues at no charge.
  • Unauthorized Modifications and Repairs:
    • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, upgrades, or improper handling.
    • Work performed by third parties that results in damage or part failure will void the warranty on affected parts.

Parts Warranty

Warranty Periods:

  • For orders placed on or after 06/26/2025, all computer components are covered for 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • For orders placed on or after 04/25/2025, all computer components are covered for 3 years from the date of delivery.
  • For orders placed on or after 09/13/2024, all computer components are covered for 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • For orders placed before 09/13/2024, components are covered for 1 year from delivery. Orders placed in 2022 and 2023 are covered by a 2-year warranty.
  • Peripherals, including Apex or Manik-branded peripherals, are covered for 6 months from delivery.

Parts will be replaced with a new or refurbished version of the same part or a new or refurbished version of an upgraded version.


RMA and Shipping Policies

  • International Orders: Customers are responsible for shipping and duties for all RMA shipments outside the U.S.
  • Return Shipping: Apex Gaming PCs covers return shipping for RMAs requested within 365 days of delivery. After 365 days, customers cover round-trip shipping. Return shipping is only covered if the original packaging is used when shipping the PC. If new packaging is being used, customers will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with shipping the PC back. Apex Gaming PCs notifies customers to retain the packaging in four separate emails prior to PC delivery to ensure the packaging is retained. 
  • UPS Shipping Assistance: We can purchase shipping on your behalf at discounted rates, billed to you.
  • RMA vs Refund: If your order falls within our 30-day return window and you experience any issues, you have the option to request either a refund or an RMA for your new PC. However, once the RMA process has begun, a refund will no longer be available. Please inform our customer service team of your preferred resolution before proceeding, as your choice cannot be changed once confirmed.
  • Two or More RMAs: If your PC is RMA'd more than two times within the first year of ownership, Apex Gaming PCs will provide you with an extended three-year shipping warranty, meaning round-trip shipping is free of charge to you for the length of the PCs part warranty. 

Additional RMA Guidelines

  • Transparency: We’ll provide a video of your PC undergoing stress tests after repairs.
  • Packaging: Systems must be returned with original packaging standards to avoid charges for damages. This includes an external double-walled box, Instapak protecting the inside of the PC, and the GPU shipped uninstalled. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in any damages being charged prior to the return of the PC, and a claim with UPS will not be filed. 
  • Accessories: Do not return peripherals unless requested.

Health and Safety Standards

Systems must be free from third-hand smoke residue, or a $100 cleaning fee may apply.
